About the event

A myriad of threats put your business at risk while also placing your workforce and customers in danger.  These threats can include severe weather, natural disasters, civil disturbance, violent crime, cyber-attacks, and even terrorism.

In this session, Director of Property Standards Nate Mitten will provide a general framework to address unexpected disruptions to your business with the goal of enhancing its resilience.

You’ll get answers to the following questions:

  • How do you prepare?
  • How will you and your team respond in the event of an emergency or disaster?
  • How quickly will you recover, and can you minimize long-term impacts?

Detailed action items and checklists will be provided for several common threats.  Additional resources will be provided for further investigation beyond the session.
